Triple Turbo Kit For 1994-2007 Dodge Cummins 5.9L
The Diesel Power Source Triple Turbo kit consist of two parallel turbos, compounded with a single turbo. We are twin turbo-ing a single turbo, for massive air flow, and great spool-up.
Spool-Up & Power that surpasses anything you've ever driven!
Allows High Horsepower Trucks to be street drivable.
Great EGT control for high horsepower trucks, with spool-up that is like stock.
Our Triple Turbo kit is recommended for trucks over 650 horsepower (even though our triple kit can be easily ran on a truck below 650 horsepower, at that range we recommend our Twin/Compound turbo kits because they will give you similar performance below the 650 horsepower range at a much lower price.)
The kits with Triple 66 turbos are capable of flowing 3850 CFM. For comparison sake, the stock turbo on a 2003-07 5.9L Cummins flows appx. 580 cfm.
Triples vs. Twins
Typically to get a set of compound turbos to be driveable around the 1000 HP range, requires such large turbos that your truck becomes extremely laggy. However, this is not the case with our Triple Turbo kit, which spools up like stock even on a 1000 HP truck.
Our Triple Turbo kits allow huge horsepower trucks (650-1200) to be daily street driven without the excessive smoke.
If you are considering Triple Turbos you should understand that they will produce very high boost pressures (capabilities of over 100 psi). We recommend head studs over 45 psi and fire rings over 55 psi.
We recommend the following S300 turbo choices for the given horsepower ranges:
Unlike other kits on the market that simply mount the parallel turbos to a pipe with a flange, which creates huge turbulence, our kit comes with a cast iron 'Y' pedestal, which splits the exhaust very efficiently into the two parallel turbos. This system was designed on a computer using the latest CAD and CFD (computational fluid dynamics) software to achieve excellent, efficient air flow throughout the system, as well as excellent pairing of turbo wheel sizes together. All exhaust fittings to the turbos are bolted on, not v-band clamped so there is no exhaust leaks.
Over the past year we have made many improvements to our Triple Turbo kits, from our first release. These include new oil drains, different wheel sizes, different wastegate designs. We have a kit that will bolt on and run excellent for years under high horsepower applications.
The Silicone tubing is used on the low pressure end, and is a dream to work with. They are 5-ply, strong, and very flexible. They are easy to work around because you can move them out of the way easily when needed. They are rated to 150 psi, and will probably never see over 40 psi, because they are on the low pressure side. You will see why we use silicone on the low pressure piping when you work with them. They are an awesome addition to our Triple Kit.
The kit comes with the following:
3-Piece Exhaust Manifold, Cast Iron Hot Elbow, Cast Iron Y-Splitter Pedestal, 'Y' Exhaust Down Pipe, Laser cut stainless steel up pipe, Silicone 5-ply Cold Charge Up Pipe, Three D-Tech turbochargers (all with polished compressor housings), Turbo wrap, Polished Aluminum Intercooler Hose (high pressure side), upper and lower silicone 5-ply coupler, two air filters, Bolts, V-band clamps, t-bolt clamps, steel braided/teflon oil supply lines, Three Oil Drain Lines, 1-Year Limited Warranty
