This is the latest in heat shield technology and is made from crushed volcanic rock that is strained into a durable fiber material. The DPS Turbo Heat Blanket can withstand direct and continuous heat up to 1800 F and 2500 F radiant heat.
This easy to install heat shield is custom fit and composed of extreme temperature materials designed to keep heat in the hot side (turbine) of the turbo where it belongs. Therefore, more heat is retailed in the turbine and less heat damage on engine compartment components. The result of this heightened protection is a cooler air intake temperature and a boost in horsepower!
