The Diesel Power Source, ARCTIC INTERCOOLER is an excellent choice for both performance, towing, racing, sled pulling, or just a great stock intercooler replacement.

When the compressed air exits your turbo it can exceed 500 degrees F.  At this high of temperatures this air has very low density (the phenomenon that makes a hot air balloon rise).  To increase the density of the air intercoolers are placed between the turbo and the engine.  Intercoolers drastically improve performance and efficiency of an engine, so obviously the more efficient the intercooler is, the more performance and efficiency the engine will have.  The stock intercooler is less than 70% efficient while we achieve 91% efficiency with the ARTIC.
